Welcome to Southern Maryland Eliminators Field Hockey! We are a nonprofit field hockey club dedicated
to growing the game across Southern Maryland and providing athletes ages 4–18 with opportunities to
learn, compete, and develop a lifelong love for the sport.
Whether your athlete is picking up a stick for the first time or preparing for high-level club competition, the

Sticks Up for Southern Maryland Field Hockey.
From First Stick to Fierce Competitor.
Our fall rec league is a great introduction to field hockey and a fun, competitive season for returning players. Athletes learn fundamentals, build confidence, and play games in a positive team environment.
Designed for our youngest players, Kiddie Sticks introduces field hockey through fun, age-appropriate activities focused on movement, basic stick skills, and confidence.
Our clinics provide additional skill development for players of all levels. Clinics focus on fundamentals, stick skills, passing, receiving, shooting, game awareness, and confidence on the field.
Indoor field hockey is a faster-paced version of the game that helps athletes develop quick skills, footwork, decision-making, speed, and confidence in tight spaces. This program is best suited for players ready for a more competitive environment.
Our spring outdoor program gives athletes the opportunity to continue developing in the traditional outdoor game. Players focus on field awareness, passing patterns, positioning, team play, and competitive tournament experience.
For older athletes, we support player development and help connect motivated high school players with opportunities to continue playing at the next level.
